There are two other types of lozenges that contain zinc - slippery elm & vitamin C. Some individuals do not tolerate or care for xylitol that is why I list either of these for you to choose. I feel that zinc is such an important mineral that I like to have a range of options for the inclusion of zinc in a daily supplement regime. Zinc helps the body to support and balance excess copper - which I believe can play a role in attention. Zinc helps the body in balancing excess calcium and glutamate.
